Jam-O-Rama 2012, the musical reunion and jam celebrating the great rock bands of the Pacific Northwest is scheduled for Saturday, September 15th, 2012 from 1:00pm until closing, at the Portland’s live music icon, The White Eagle Saloon!

In 2010, we had a SRO event (both inside and out) at The White Eagle Saloon in Portland, and we're expecting an even bigger turnout this year. The White Eagle is really a cool place, with a nice stage, great food drinks, and lots of seating, both inside and out.

We had a total blast in 2010 with great musicians representing Portland bands from the 60’s and 70’s including The Rising Sons, Jacobs Ladder, The 1,2,3,FOUR, The Stop, The Live Five, The Stags, The WAYDS, Phoenix, The Sludge Brothers, and The Epics and plenty of current bands too. This year, we expect another great lineup of bands playing live, as well as many people representing their bands, with lots of schmoozing!

As with the last Jam-O-Rama, we’ll have a PA, and a backline of drums, keyboards, bass and guitar amps for everyone to use. Just bring your guitars, bass and favorite vocal mics and whatever else you want to play and join in on the fun.

We’re going to video the event again too.

As with the previous Jam-O-Rama’s, there will be no cover charge again this year, and it’s open to the public.

The band time slots are beginning to fill up (The Rising Sons, The Wayds, The Stags and The Executives are coming back again this year), so let me know if you and your band want to be added to the lineup, or if you know of any Pacific Northwest bands have been woodshedding and would like to play. We'll have the "All Star Jam" again this year too!
